Seats for the Bomb
Pen & ink (high school)
This was inspired by a National Geographic story about naval
officers (later in the sixties my father was on a destroyer in

ships ranged from about 15-40 miles away from the blast. They
wore goggles for protection…

Tropical Fish at Night
Colored pencil on colored matte board (high school)
Just a simple assignment in art class. My first colored pencil
drawing.

(no title)
Pen & ink (high school)
One of those 3-minute stream of consciousness sketch assignments.
After recently watching the Sopranos I can now hear the psychiatrist’s
voice making comments about it.

Now
Colored pen and ink (2001)
The first illustration I have done in years. A friend encouraged
me to draft a cover for a poetry book.
